Acknowledging the
importance of nurturing capable leaders to serve as a conduit between students
and teachers, UNACCO School has established a Prefect Council. Following the
appointment of a Head Boy and Head Girl after the previous session, a series of
interviews were conducted to identify candidates for key positions related to
Sports, Co-Curricular Activities, and Houses.
In a demonstration of
transparency and democratic principles, each shortlisted candidate was tasked
with presenting their manifesto, which was subsequently shared with the entire
school community. Embracing the spirit of democracy, the selection process
extended to include votes cast by each member of the school community, ensuring
that the leaders chosen truly reflect the collective voice and choice of the
student body. This approach underscores our commitment to fostering leadership
qualities while upholding democratic values within the school community.
